Here you go.  Final designs went to the printer.  Plans to print in 7 to 10 days.  Yeah!

These are from the “Spicy Pumpkin” Collection.  Remember – they will not be printed on white stock…so they will look a tad bit different.  Hope you like them!  I’m a fan of “orange” too! 🙂

OK, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to share any designs just yet.  My paper is still in the process of being printed.  This is from the “Cream of Mushroom” line.  It’s one of my favorite designs.  Please keep in mind that it will be printed on a different medium and not on white stock.

I hope you like it as much as I do!  Thanks for looking!

Fun Bits for the Week (or month) :) January 20, 2010

Fun Bits for the week of January 11th…

Yes, it’s been a while since I’ve posted fun bits.  I don’t think I’ve posted any since before Christmas 😦  Here are a few from the last week…

* Leah has decided to start dressing like a rock star.  Not really a rock star but a Disney star.  She has been wearing skirts, footless tights, boots and her sparkly pink and silver scarf for the last several days.  She even wore it outside to make a snowman with Dad.

* Brooke scolded me the other day.  I was eating some crackers on the couch and she busted me!

* I’ve been proud of the girls lately – they’ve really been playing great together.  Most of the time they play house and Brooke is the Mom.  I keep listening to see what “Mom” has to say.  I’m hoping it’s all good and she doesn’t start yelling like someone else I know. 😉

* Speaking of playing house…you just never know what you’re going to see around here.  Is this a bug or a princess or a geisha girl?

* Everytime Kami goes to put chapstick on, she says she needs “lips chapped”.

* I enjoyed my birthday.  Thank you everyone for all the great birthday wishes!  We all went out to dinner at the Japanese steak house.  Leah loved it.  Brooke and Kami were not so sure.  I had to switch seats with Kami because she was afraid of the fire.  Brooke started crying when she saw the grill “fired” up.  I enjoyed my yummy dinner and love watching the girls try chop-sticks for the first time.

Have a great week.  I’ll have some project sneak peeks tomorrow!

And the worst blogger award goes to… January 12, 2010

Me.

Yep, that’s right.

Was that last post on Christmas?

Hmmm.

I have my log-in in my “favorites” to the left of my inbox.

I keep avoiding the section with “Soup Bowl – Create New Post”.

If I don’t look over there, it might go away. 🙂

As all of you know it’s crrrazy busy right now with CHA stuff.

Have you seen all the sneak peeks over at the Bean Talk blog?  Good stuff.

Promises to be a better blogger after the show.  I even started another blog since this one is driving me crazy (blurry photos and all).

Can you see that chunk of blue missing from the top right box?  I can. Ugh.

Have a good one.

Be back soon!

A little bit of everything… December 17, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — jyeger @ 2:32 pm

News, prayer requests, card request, a sneak peek and a giveaway…a little bit of everything…

You know it’s bad when I could not remember my log-in id for the blog. 😦   New Year’s Resolution for 2010: Better Blogger :).  I think I have too many outlets to post what’s going on in our everyday life and it’s just too much.  Facebook is going to have to suffer.  Tee Hee.

As we approach the Winter Craft and Hobby show, we have LOTS going on!  Travel plans, booth reservations, booth changes, design team assignments and new products – not to mention all the holiday stuff as well!   The show is in Anaheim again so I’m looking forward to a little sunshine.  Also, I love the breakfasts at the Embassy Suites!  I’m really looking forward to having an omlet made for me every morning.  Yum.  Oh, and free happy hour too!  Can’t beat that!   And of course spending time with friends. 🙂  Soooo, what about NEW products – you ask and where are they?  We’ll I thought I would share one little quick sneak peek – it’s my favorite piece of paper from all of our new lines and it makes me smile everytime I see it.  I should really carry it in my pocket or something.

It’s from my Old World Cabbage Soup line and I LOVE it!!!  My favorite line to date.

We are discontinuing several lines now, including all of our first kraft lines.  If there’s something you absolutely love, you may want to get it before it’s all gone. 😦

Prayer Requests – this time of year is very difficult for some people.  The holidays should bring joy but to some it brings sadness as they remember the loss of a loved one that may not be at the dinner table this season.  If you have a minute or two say a prayer for these familes.  I have a few extras as well…

* This from my SIL Kathy:

A friend’s daughter is a senior in HS and has been having a difficult time for the last several years.  As of this past year, it has resulted in panic attacks and more recently, hallucinations.  There is some concern that she may have been abused by a school employee.  After recommendation from several psychiatrists and therapists, she is currently in an inpatient rehabilitation facility for 90 days (thousands of miles from her home).  In addition to all the stress with trying to figure out what has happened and the best treatment for her, now there is also a financial burden.  I’m sure the holidays will be especially difficult, as she is an only child.  It is my understanding that they will only be able to see her for a few hours on Christmas day, even if they travel that far.  The family needs everyone’s prayer.  Thanks.

* My friend Missey’s sister could use your prayers.  Her husband recently lost his job.  What a horrible time to lose your job – I couldn’t even imagine.  Please say couple of prayers for this family as well.

* One other note…I got this message from my friend Holly…

My cousin Nate Elfrink is 7 ½ years old and has been fighting cancer his entire life.  They thought the tumor was finally gone earlier this year, but we found out last week that it has returned and is growing more rapidly than ever.  Unfortunately, there is not much more they can do for him.  His last wish is to receive as many Christmas Cards as possible, (hopefully 1 million)!    If you get a moment, could you please send a Christmas card to Nate?

Here’s his address:

 NATE ELFRINK
2415 TAYLOR BLAIR ROAD
WEST JEFFERSON, OH 43162

If you have a moment, can you send Nate a card? UPDATE: The family has said they have received enough cards but are asking people to make a donation in Nate’s name to the Children’s Hospital of Columbus.  You can read more information here.  Thanks Holly D. for the update.

Switching gears – so sorry for the random post.  How about a giveaway?  It’s been a while!  I have some new samples sitting in a box just waiting to get used.  If you would like to get NEW product before it’s even on the market, leave a comment.  Nothing special, just a note.  Random.org will pick a winner on December 25th.  Christmas here in the states.

Good Luck and thanks in advance for your prayers.

I’ve had alot of traffic on this blog lately.  Thanks everyone for your interest and for taking a peek.  I can see that several of you are looking for JBS products.  I have a couple of sneak peeks here and some cards here and here and here.  My website is in the process of being built (unfortunately it’s taking a little longer than expected).

The first store to offer JBS products will be Scrapbook Art in Lewis Center.  I’m excited to say that they will carry our entire line!!  Thank you Scrapbook Art!!!  They recently changed ownership and the new address is 1190 E. Powell Rd, Lewis Center OH 43035 (beside Wholly Joe’s).  Their Grand Opening is scheduled for the weekend of Sept 6th and 7th!  Please stop by and check out the new store and all the new goodies!  I know they plan to send out a newsletter with more information soon!

In the meantime, I thought I would share with you my favorite line…Cream of Mushroom (get it – soup names). 😉  In addition to this line there are 5 other lines.  As you can see from the cards, several are printed on kraft paper.  This particular line will be sold in both white and kraft.  I also have some other goodies coming out as well.  Check out our Alphabeans below.

Alphabeans…there’s a total of 12 different Alphabean colors and designs.  Here are 4 to share…

If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me at info@jillibean-soup.com.

Thanks for looking and please stop by soon!!
