Discover layout and a giveaway… June 9, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — jyeger @ 7:00 am

This went up on the Bean Talk blog today.  Sorry for the dark photos – I can’t seem to make good lighting choices lately. 😦   I used 1/2 package of sprouts along with several papers from the White Bean collection.  Oh, I also used a Becky Fleck’s sketch from her Page Maps book!  I love this book!  Great ideas and I love the punched out card ideas in the back of the book.  The sketches can be used for layouts or cards!  The sketch I used is from page 48 – if you have the book.  If you don’t have the book and you’re interested in winning a copy…leave a comment.  I’ll pick a winner next Monday at 9:00pm EST.

Good Luck!

I really like the butterflies too, along with the sprouts. Are the butterflies corrugated?

  13. Dani Says:

I saw that layout on the blog this morning… super cute!!! I love the colors and your use of the little sprouts 🙂 I, too, am wondering about the corrugated butterfly… is it just punched from cardboard?

  14. jyeger Says:

    Hey gals,

Yes, it’s corrugated cardboard (or sometimes called fluted board). I can’t remember if I borrowed it from Karen or had a piece myself. I was impressed when the MS punched cut right through it!

  15. Kathy Says:

Love the sprouts. Also like the way you used a thin strip of paper to look like ribbon to connect them.
