Do you know what that means?  A GIVEAWAY!!!

I have been so excited to share this kit from Scrap Scription!  Lori is a local gal that teaches at B&B (one of our local stores) – she creates some awesome stuff!  Last fall, Lori and her friend Candy decided to start a kit company.  This isn’t an ordinary kit company…they offer very specific projects with lots of fun goodies included!  Check out this ADORABLE card box using the Minestrone line!

I’ve got one to giveaway!!!  Hmmm, should I make you work for this one…heck no, it’s tax day!  Just leave a comment about cards – do you make them?  Do you have a favorite site for inspiration?  Do you hoard them like me and never send the ones you make?

The winner will be picked via the IRS (ha!) or random.org on Saturday April 18th at 9:00 EST.  Good Luck and thanks in advance for participating?

What an adorable kit… I love how all the colors of the Minestrone line just pop out next to the black! What a fun way to celebrate Tax day!

I love making cards just to tell a friend hi and that I’m thinking about them. I’m convinced that there is nothing better than receiving a card in the mail just because someone was thinking of you. 🙂

  2. Anita Says:

Love the colors in this line!! I make a lot of cards- usually at the last minute when it hits me that someone’s b-day is just days away. I keep saying I am going to make a stash ahead of time to cut down on the stress, but it never seems to happen 🙂

  3. Janet B Says:

I love this kit! The colors are gorgeous! I’m an avid card maker–it’s my passion. I love to give awaymy cards, but I do have a big stash. Right now I’m trying out the SCS challenge to use pop cans on your cards…it’s tons of fun! Who knew?!!!

  4. Christi Says:

cute kit! I love sending cards. I’m trying to get better at making some to have on hand for last minute mailing.

  5. Andi M Says:

I occasionally make cards. I’d like to get in the habit of making them more often so I have a stash to use when an occasion arises.

  6. Amy Coose Says:

What a great kit! I am not the best card maker. It stresses me out to have to make something that small. (:

  7. Regan Says:

oooh yes I love cards, I make a ton of them, I am a maker not a giver though…LOL!!

    I like using sketches.

  8. rebecca k Says:

I do make ’em, but not fast enough to keep up with all the holidays, bdays, thank you’s etc. I need to make them in my down time so I have a stock pile!

  9. jodi Says:

I make them sometimes, but not very often. I like Papercrafts Magazine for card inspo.

Just commenting – not for the giveaway since I won the last one. 🙂

  10. Tracey Says:

  12. Sarah Says:

    Awesome kit…and yes, I’m a card horder.
I have been forcing myself to give away those
cards that have been hanging out in their box
for a while now, and I really do enjoy making
all of the kids cards for birthdays and holidays!!

  14. Diana Says:

    yep, make my own cards!

  15. I absolutely love this kit! I started to make more cards recently…but I have to say that I am starting a collection cause I just don’t want to part with them. Card Trends is my favorite for inspiration.

  16. Jennifer Says:

I’ve only recently started making cards and I love the personal touch it sends when you give someone a beautiful handmade card. This is a great kit!!!

  17. DJP Says:

I love making cards, but I haven’t made as many as usual since moving to the OHIO…and I too hoard my faves for fear that I won’t be able to “recreate” it. All my cards have my signature mark on the back too….kinda like my “hallmark” seal 🙂

  18. Very cute kit. I love making cards. At first it started as a way to use up my scraps, but lately I find myself just making cards.

  19. Tina Says:

I love that kit! I have been meaning to make a box to put all of the cards I hoard (yeah, I tend to keep them) in. I love making cards more than anything and have tried to start sending out the ones I have made. For two years now I have made enough Christmas cards to send out and have not sent a one!!!

  20. I LOVE to make cards! I actually just posted a Jillibean Soup card to my blog today. My favorite card mags are Paper Crafts and CARDS.

  22. CB Says:

What an awesome kit! I do make cards – I don’t like to buy cards anymore b/c I think of all the scrap I could be using on cards! My fave place for card sketches is pagemaps, and the Hero Arts blog has some wonderful inspiration for cards too. Thanks for the chance to win! Cute name for the site, too “scrap scription” – definitely a cure for what ails you! 🙂

  23. Jill,
I agree… it’s pretty awesome. I make cards and like you, horde them, but also send them… part of the fun for me is designing for a specific recipient and having lost everything to Hurricane Katrina, I now hate to hold on too tightly to anything. Thanks for sharing this new kit with us.

  24. Gracie Says:

I love making cards! I usually get inspiration from magazines and card blogs. One favorite is Card Patterns .

  25. summer robinson Says:

I love making a scrapbook page and then making a card with my scraps, it always keeps my creativity going and my scraps dont completely over run my table.

  26. Kim Arnold Says:

I love making cards and have struggled in the past to give up my creations. But I realise how much pleasure they give and now I just make sure I give the really detailed ones to the people who really treasure them and I make simplier ones for kids birthdays etc.

  27. Holly Says:

I love that kit! I do enjoy making cards, thanks to Jillibean. Creating cards always seemed daunting until Jill held her first “class”. And now I see how they can be a quick craft that makes you feel like you’ve accomplished something.

  49. Karen Says:

I have been making cards for about 15 years…long before scrapbooking became my passion. For 12 of those 15 years, I made my own Chistmas cards and Christmas Thank-yous and practically every card that I sent (which is a lot). I made all of my kids announcements (stamped & heat embossed) when they were born. I do send them but I do hoard too. I actually bought a turning rack from a store that was going out of business so that I would have a place to store my cards & see them easily. Right now, I have about 150 cards ready to send and I just gave my mom 20 and donated another 20 to church to be sent as needed. I love stamping!!!!

By the way, I saw this sample at B&B a few weeks ago and it is even cuter than it looks. If you don’t win it, everyone should buy it!!!!
