Yum! Love this stuff! I planned on putting the bark into a cute little container and decorating it, but my hubby ate it all! OK, so I helped a little. 🙂 Good thing I took this pic earlier in the week. This is so simple to make!
- 1 pkg crushed candy canes (yields 1 cup)
- 2 lbs White Chocolate
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
Place candy candes in a plastic bag and smash into 1/4″ chunks or smaller. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler (I have a make-shift double boiler…I use a regular pan and put a metal bowl on top of it). Combine candy cane chunks with chocolate. Add peppermint extract. Pour mixture onto a cookie sheet layered with wax paper or parchment paper. Put cookie sheet into refrigerator for 45 min or until firm. Remove from frige and break into pieces.
