While on vacation I actually read a book!  Yeah!  You have no idea how long it’s been since I’ve read anything fiction.  It’s incredibly difficult for me to get anything read these days – I even gave up my “People” subscription.  I decided I wanted something funny and not too dramatic (I didn’t need any tears on vacation).  I ended up reading “Momzillas” by Jill Kargman.  It was fun and made me thankful that my friends aren’t crazies. 😉  It’s about life as a mom in the Upper East side of New York City.  Crazy Momzillas are everywhere competing for the best birthday parties (we’re talking jumpy castle, mini petting zoo, aquarium, make your own sundae bar, caricaturist, face painter, giant pinata and button maker all at the same party), best $20,000/yr preschools, best $5,000,000 apartment, best dressed peeps, best size 2 party dresses – even the best Apgar scores.  It was a great book for the beach (even though I read it in the car).

Here’s a link for an excerpt…

I have a copy if anyone wants to borrow it.
