Happy Father’s Day! June 21, 2009

Happy Father’s Day to my Dad, Don, Earl and of course hubby!  Hope you all had a great day! 

This is a layout I did quite some time ago of hubby.  He truly is our rock around here!  My peeps are so lucky to have him… Me too!

I tried entering this puppy as one of my layouts for the “Scrapbooker of the Year” CK contest in ‘07.   I still love the title and journaling…that took some time to get just right.  I think most of the supplies are Scenic Route.

{Cheer}ios…a layout I did last fall at a retreat.  Lots of green and brown…imagine that!  There’s a “hint” of Jillibean Soup on there…see it?  Yep, there’s a sprout.  I’ve been using these things on everything!

I’ve been working on some layouts/cards/projects for CHA.  I will be sharing some of them in the next couple of weeks.  This one uses the Cream of Mush Collection, Brown and Green Journaling Sprouts,  Harvest Bean Seeds and ribbons/fibers from our Bean Stalks.

A little help from some Jillibean Soup friends – part 5… December 12, 2008

I can’t remember, is it part 4, 5 or 6?  You guys have been awesome in sharing ideas with me!  So now, I’ll share them with everyone else!

Here’s a great layout from Jennifer!  Jennifer is teaching classes and selling kits at Scrapbookings Inn in Hellertown, PA!  She made this adorable page kit with the Cream of Mush line!  Thanks for sharing Jennifer!

Here’s a cute layout from Jen!  Jen used the “Fresh Raspberries” from the Cold Raspberry collection.  I’m all about cutting out those butterflies and using them to add extra texture!  Thanks for sharing Jen!

Me November 25, 2008

Here’s a layout I worked on during our retreat at Zane Trace Inn.  The journaling was created using the “About” page from this blog.  So, the layout is all about “me”.  I used “Shittake” from the Cream of Mush line and created the die cut from another piece of patterned paper (I think I used one from Making Memories).  Also, the red frame around “me” was created using 2 punches….one large scallop punch (from EK Success) created the large scallop and then I used a smaller punch (Stampin’ Up) to create the inner hole.  The red looks a bit flourescent in the photo – sorry…it doesn’t look that crazy in person.  I added a journaling sprout last but have not journaled anything on it yet.  Any ideas what I should put on it?  I was going to put “36″ (for my age) but it didn’t work with the “about” journaling.  Any other ideas?  Any cute charms or new buttons or fun do-dads I could use?

Amy created this cute “great outdoors” layout with papers from both the Cream of Mush line and the Cold Raspberry line.  Love how she tore the paper below the photo.  Also, love her journaling spot with the bird and butterfly.  Thanks for sharing Amy!

This “card kit” is from Jody…Jody has a great paperie in Wooster, Ohio called the Pink Tomato.  Jodi added yellow cardstock to the JB papers – something I would have never thought of!  Jodi also created a cute little bag to put the cards in.  Cute kit, Jodi, thanks for sharing! 

 

“Grandparents are Great” layout from Holly.  Holly used the Split Pea collection and the “Oh so Orange” Alphabeans.  Love how she cut the bottom of the star so the tip would go over the photo.  Thanks for sharing Holly!

 Here’s another layout from Amy.  Amy used the white Cream of Mush line for this layout.  She cut several of the trees out and used them with the “Morel” paper.  Cute layout Amy…thanks for sharing!

“Little Princess, Big Chief” from Edna.  Edna got really creative with this page and made a tee pee out of the “Brown Sugar” paper.  Very cute!  Thanks for sharing Edna!

Linda did a layout of her kids using the Blackbean collection.  I love how she cut them diagonally and added 2 different designs.  Thanks for sharing Linda!

“Maria” layout from Kathy.  Kathy pulled the oranges and greens out of the photo and used the Split Pea paper to coordinate.  She also used the Bean Brown Alphabeans and a couple of Journaling Sprouts.  I love how she tore the paper at the bottom of the layout and created more texture on the page.

Beautiful Girl November 21, 2008

The photo does not do this layout justice…  Here’s a layout using the white Cream of Mush line.  I love the birds.  I love green and brown together!  You can also see some fun JB Soup ribbons and twill.  Someone from the Columbus Scrappers (was that Melissa?) was asking about twill last night and I didn’t even think about my twill ribbons.  The black and white photo just pops off the page.  I added a pink JB Soup Bean Seed (felt flower) as just a hint of color.

A Little Help from some Jillibean Friends November 19, 2008

Got some good stuff to share.  I apologize for the lighting in the photos.

Here’s a very cool “Fall” layout from Emily (Emily works at Scrapbook Groupies in Gahanna and is the sweetest!).  She used the Cream of Mush collection to create that very cool tree.  Love the 3-D leaves too!  Thanks Emily!

Here’s another cute fall page from Kathy.  Kathy used the Spicy Pumpkin collection as well as some JB Soup Bean Seeds (felt pieces).  The girls in the pic are my 2 sweet nieces.  Thanks Kathy!

Suzie created a cute baseball page using the Cold Raspberry line.  The circles work great with the baseball theme.  Thanks Suzie!

“Many Thanks” card from Tracy.  Love that Cream of Mush line!  Tracy used the Half & Half (birds) paper on the inside as well.  Great design!  Cute card Tracy!!

A “Pumpkin Patch” layout from Jamie.  She used the white Cream of Mush line.  Look at that adorable owl!  She cut him out by hand – cute, cute!!  Thanks Jamie!
